Cookie Policy
This notice is separate from the Privacy Notice and describes the cookies and similar technologies used by the Rome AI Festival submission portal.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website may store on a user's device. Technical cookies provide a requested service or remember an essential choice. Analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, where present, require an appropriate legal assessment and, where required, prior consent.

3. Technologies not used
The portal does not load analytics platforms, advertising pixels, profiling tools, embedded videos, embedded maps or third-party fonts. If any such technology is introduced, this policy and the choice mechanism will be updated before activation.
4. Automatic register
The portal preference centre automatically reads first-party cookies visible to the page and reports names not included in the known register. Technical cookies marked HttpOnly and hosting-provider security logs cannot be read through JavaScript, but may be processed for security, abuse prevention and service operation as described in the Privacy Notice.
5. Managing your choice
On the first visit, the banner explains the technical cookie. Closing it with the X or choosing “Continue with necessary cookies” retains the default technical setting and records the choice for 6 months. The preference centre can be reopened at any time using “Review cookie choices” in the footer. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings; if you do, the banner will appear again.
